  How Does NASA communicate with spacecraft?   NASA Communication with space craft: Spacecraft sends us the information and pictures using DNS (deep space network). DNS is a collection of big antennas which receives information and is located at different locations in the world. The antennas also receive details about where the spacecraft are and how they are doing. There are DSN locations near Canberra, Australia, Madrid, Spain and Goldstone, California. Those sites are almost evenly spaced around the planet. That means as the Earth turns, we never loose the sight of spacecraft.   What DSN Antennas Do? DSN  receives information and pictures which is sent by spacecraft.  NASA also uses the DSN to send lists of instructions to the space craft. How Do Spacecraft Communicate With the DSN?
